Who we are:
The Dandelion Community is a vibrant, open and inclusive church at the heart of Wythenshawe, Manchester. We are committed to an inclusive welcome to all people to share the journey of faith, whatever their age, race, culture, gender, sexuality, economic status or physical or mental ability.
What we do:
Our commitment is to social justice and community action – not just worship on a Sunday! The church is busy throughout the week – supporting the many community groups which call our building their home, campaigning for social justice, and supporting vulnerable people in our community and beyond.
Why we do it:
We are a people inspired by the stories of the gospel and the life of Jesus Christ. As Disciples of Jesus, we believe God loves everyone and calls us to help make the world a better place – of justice, peace, and love.
The Dandelion Church is one of ten churches sharing ministry and resources in the Manchester and Salford Urban Mission Partnership.
